Dr. Derek Muller is a science communicator, TV presenter, and creator of the popular YouTube channel Veritasium, which has received 250 million views and has 3.2 million subscribers.
In 2015, Dr. Muller presented the TV documentary “Uranium” for an international broadcast audience. He has been featured on the BBC, Discovery Channel, History Channel and numerous other media outlets.
He completed his bachelor’s in Engineering Physics at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada and a PhD in Physics Education Research at the University of Sydney.
Dr. Muller studied how to design multimedia to teach physics effectively. He is passionate about inspiring the next generation of scientists through social media and raising the level of science literacy around the globe.
