Innovation and imaginations are the currencies of tomorrow's governments, and Globalization 4.0 must incorporate a new type of globalization, one that embraces the Forth Industrial Revolution (4IR) and an ever-growing multipolar world - to ensure that not a single person in society is left behind. Led by speakers Professor Klaus Schwab, founder and executive chairman of the World Economic Forum, and His Excellency Mohammed Abdullah AlGergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and ‎the Future, Globalization 4.0 saw Schwab speak on how today’s global system is "in danger of spinning out of control” due to three stress factors: the speed of technological changes due to 4IR, a new wave of populism and the potentially devastating impact of climate change. For his part, AlGergawi highlighted the importance of innovation and imagination, saying the world today is "shifting from the age of information to age of imagination”. "Immigration of the future will be the immigration of ideas,” he outlined.
