The global health pandemic has been termed the ‘great equalizer’ at all levels, as the virus affected the rich, poor, and all demographics in between; yet the economic crisis is proving to be more of a ‘great amplifier’ of existing inequalities, as low income and vulnerable groups are far more vulnerable, and lives and livelihoods have a long way to go to recovery. Thus, people are both in need of yet fearful of making decisions. What we once did not think much of now matters profoundly, and social and economic priorities have shifted greatly. We are honored to be joined by Nobel laureate Daniel Kahneman to detail how COVID affected the way we evaluate risks and take decisions, and what is the process for sound decision making moving forward
